Now in it’s third year, KauriFest 2007 kickstarts the New Zealand Spring Festival with over 50 events throughout Northland.
KauriFest 2007 is an opportunity to enjoy conservation, heritage and a range of kauri artforms but it is also about Spring and living in sub-tropical Northland, so this year’s festival encompasses food, wine, sports, art and music as well as nature.
From living forests to living history, enjoy the ancient kauri giants in the First Region of New Zealand.

Making kauri paper workshop
Monday 24th - Friday 28th September
Where: Community Arts Centre @ the Old Library, Rust Ave, Whangarei
The Papermill team will demonstrate making paper. As part of the Kauri Festival they will especially be making Kauri Paper.
